Community Service

In addition to its solutions which contribute to reduction of paperwork (and hence saving of trees) and travel (carbon emissions), GroupSystems.com and Whole Systems Asia Pte. Ltd. believe in responsible citizenship, and are involved in supporting, directly or indirectly, the work of community service agencies locally and around the world.

Globally, GroupSystems is used by the International Red Cross for cross-national disaster relief and management, the World Bank for aid and relief work in Africa, former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and community development in Atlanta, and Brian Marsh, GroupSystems associate, for dealing with juvenile delinquency.

In Singapore, Whole Systems Asia Pte. Ltd. supports community service in contributions of cash and personnel, and in collaboration with clients such as the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM). In conjunction with IPAM, and in collaboration with ABLC--the Adventist enABLing Centre--a series of health seminars by Dr. John A. Scharffenberg, World Organization Health (WHO) expert from Loma Linda Medical University, was conducted for top civil servants.

WSA also supports the Children At Rick Empowerment (CARE) program, which currently helps more than a thousand school children and youth at risk. It also supported CARE’s establishment of its CareGYM for youth guidance.
